Privacy notice
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This notice explains how Cadiahk (Pty) Ltd ("Cadiahk", "we") handles personal information collected through cadiahk.com, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Who is responsible
Cadiahk (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party. Our Information Officer is Junior Matlou. You can contact them by sending an enquiry with the type Privacy request on our contact page.
What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry, we collect:
- your name and email address, so we can reply
- your company name, enquiry type, budget range and timeline, if you choose to give them
- your message
- the date and time of your enquiry and your consent
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to discuss the work. We rely on your consent, which you give when you send the form. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing lists.
Protecting the form from abuse
To stop automated spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical signals from your browser and your IP address. We also keep a short-lived, one-way scrambled version of your IP address to limit the number of enquiries from one network. It is deleted within two hours and cannot be turned back into your IP address.
Who processes your information for us
- Google Cloud (Firebase) hosts the website and stores enquiries in its Johannesburg region, South Africa.
- Cloudflare provides the Turnstile bot check.
- Resend delivers the email notification to us and the confirmation email to you. Email delivery may involve servers outside South Africa; Resend is bound by its data processing terms to protect your information.
Our hosting provider also processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the website securely. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received, unless you become a client and we need to keep correspondence for our records or legal obligations.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you and give you a copy
- correct or delete it
- stop processing it, by withdrawing your consent
Send a Privacy request through the contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if how we handle personal information changes, and change the date above.
